Our provider schedules vary throughout the week. We offer early morning and later afternoon appointments to fit your busy schedule. If your child needs a same day sick appointment, be sure to call at 7:30am when the phones turn on.
Our providers open additional appointment times on the day of to help accommodate patients needing urgent medical care. Your primary care provider is your best resource for treating your child.
If you need to reschedule your child's appointment, please contact our office at least 24 hours in advance. Cancelling timely in advance, allows us to accommodate the needs of all of our patients. Our receptionists make reminder calls two days in advance of the appointment date.
In addition, if you register on our patient portal, the portal will send out appointment reminders to the email on file. Missed appointments are electronically tracked in our computer system. Missed appointments are recorded in the medical record as a "No Show". A history of missed appointments can jeopardize your families relationship with Southside Pediatrics.
Insurance and Billing
Parents are required to know the benefits and coverage limitations of their insurance plan. Questions to ask your insurance provider or employer: In Network/Out of Network Coverage, Tier Coverage, Copays, Deductibles and Co-Insurance. Our staff is not responsible for knowing what your insurance plan may or may not cover. We are happy to help with general questions about coverage. Payment of Copays, are expected to be paid in full at time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. Outstanding patient balances should be paid in full within 30 days of receipt of your patient statement. Southside Pediatrics participates and accepts the following insurances. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We offer a 20% discount for patients who have no insurance. Feel free to ask our receptionist for details. If you are unable to pay your balance in full please contact our office manager to discuss payment options, we can offer flexible monthly payment plans. Unpaid balances are subject to interruption of services.
